Successful company located in the Appleton / Little Chute area is seeking a Direct Hire Road Service Mechanic and Technician. There is a $1,000 Bonus opportunity where you will have a potential to earn $1,000 bonus at 90 days if you have strong work ethic and attendance! This position is ideal for those who live in Appleton, Madison, or Milwaukee area. (However, training is required onsite on the Appleton location and approximately 1 day a month afterward to conduct meetings and meet with supervisors.)
The Road Service Mechanic and Technician position will be responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing of truck mounted hydraulic equipment including bucket truck aerials, digger derricks, light cranes, boom loaders, winches, lift gates, reel loaders, etc. Upon successful completion of training with shop and road service technicians, this position will require traveling Monday - Friday. This will involve client locations either locally or throughout the state of WI and MI/ Upper Peninsula. (You will be home on weekends! You leave Monday am and are back in the area on Fridays.)
Road Service Mechanic and Technician Hours: Dayshift position with 50+ hours per week. Flexible day shift hours, Monday through Friday.
Pay: $24.00-$28.00/hour, depending on experience (Well maintained vehicle and equipment are provided.) Hotel and meal costs are covered as well as a premium where you make an extra $2.00/hour for overnight stays! Road Service Mechanic and Technician Benefits: Lucrative quarterly bonus program is offered, along with health, dental, life, and 401K. (The 401K starts after 90 days).

Qualifications for Hire Road Service Mechanic and Technician:
- 2-3 years of experience in vehicle service repair in any areas of automotive, diesel truck, fork lift, crane or heavy equipment industries.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
- CDL is preferred but not required (for test driving trucks that are being repaired)
- Physical and drug test are required before starting.
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
- Experience in hydraulics and chassis electrical is preferred.
